Abstract

Emergency Room is a service provided to serve emergency patients with fast and standard treatment. The main standard that nurses need to understand in providing services in the ER is related to Triage. So that the skills of nurses in applying the concept of Triage are very necessary. A nurse's skill in applying triage is influenced by knowledge and perceptionPurpose: To find out the relationship between the patient's perception of first aid and the role of nurses in the emergency room, dr. Raden Soedjati Soemodiardjo Purwodadi, Grobogan RegencyMethods: The type of research used by the researcher is quantitative research with descriptive research design. The sample in this study amounted to 30 nurses who work in the emergency room who were selected using a purposive sampling technique based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the researcher. These 30 respondents will be given a triage knowledge questionnaire and a questionnaire related to perceptions about triage, the results of which will be analyzed using the Frequency DistributionResults: as many as 25 (83%) respondents have a good description of the level of knowledge about triage and 30 respondents (100%) have positive perceptions related to triageConclusion: An overview of the knowledge of emergency room nurses at RSUD dr. Raden Soedjati Soemodiardjo Purwodadi Grobogan Regency regarding triage is included in the good category with a positive perception of triage
