HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN PERAWAT TENTANG KESELAMATAN PASIEN TERHADAP JENIS TRIASE DI UGD RUMAH SAKIT PANTI RAHAYU YAKKUM PURWODADI

Abstract

Background: The triage system is one of the implementations of a risk management system in the emergency department so that patients who come get treatment quickly and precisely according to their needs using available resources.

Objective: The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of nurses and the application of triage in the ER Panti Rahayu Yakkum Purwodadi Hospital.

Methods: This study used an analytical observational design with a cross sectional study approach. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The number of respondents in this study were 33 respondents with nurses in the surgical emergency room who were assessed based on the level of knowledge by application, then the results were tested by chi-square with a significance level of = 0.05.

Results: The results of research conducted in the ER Panti Rahayu Yakkum Purwodadi Hospital that of the 33 respondents studied, it was found that respondents who had a good level of knowledge with the application of appropriate triage were 17 respondents (77.3%) and a low level of knowledge with the application of no triage. as many as 8 respondents (72.7%).

Conclusion: This study shows that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge of nurses with the application of triage in the ER Panti Rahayu Yakkum Purwodadi Hospital. with a significance value of p=0.006.
