Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) 2009 there were 35.6% of mothers who failed to breastfeed their babies and 20% of them were mothers in developing countries. Whereas in Indonesia in 2016 it showed that the adequacy rate of ASI in Indonesia was only 27%, this adequacy rate is still very low but at least it has increased. While in the provision of Central Java it reached 56.1% of the babies totaling 398,358 people, Central Java was ranked 6th lowest from the province that achieved the strategic plan target. Based on data obtained from the Grobogan District Health Office in 2021 there were 21,447 pregnant women, 20,110 mothers giving birth and the Tawangharjo Health Center in 2021 as many as 919 pregnant women with mothers giving birth.

Purpose ; Providing breast care to Mrs. G to facilitate breast milk.

Methodology ; This type of research is quantitative with the planned analysis carried out in this study is to analyze all the findings at the stages of the nursing process by using the concepts and theories of maternity and post partum nursing. The subjects in this study were post partum mothers. The research instrument uses equipment/facilities to facilitate work and to achieve good results when collecting data by researchers.

Results ; The research results that have been obtained are that patients are able to demonstrate breast care techniques to facilitate breastfeeding.

Conclusion ; The problem of post partum mothers with breast care interventions has been successful..
