Abstract

HIV is a form of decreased immunity that makes individuals susceptible
to disease and threatens opportunistic, neurological, disorder and malignancies that are
unusual to death, namely death.Meanwhile, socially, tend to get discrimination from
society in the form of rejection, avoidance, and also isolation, and the need for
education. health for adolescents in order to avoid juvenile delinquency, namely not
having sex freely, drugs, and not wrong associations. health education is an effort so
that adolescents behave or adopt health behaviors by means of persuasion, persuasion,
appeals, invitations, providing information, providing awareness
Objective – Analyzing the Effect of Health Education with Audio Visual Methods on
HIV / AIDS on Students' Knowledge Levels at SMK Gajah Mada Purwodadi
Methods- This research is a quantitative research design with a pra experimental
research desugn with a research design one grub pre test and post test design. The
sampling technique used in this study was non probability namely saturated sampling
and obtaines 28 respondents.
Results- Based on the alalysis of spss 16.0 Wilcoxon test, the results obtained before and
after health education were given with a Z value (-6.192). on the Asym Sig. (2-tailed)
results obtained 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that the "hypothesis is accepted".
Conclusion- Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect
of the use of health education with audio visuals about HIV / AIDS on the post-
knowledge level of students at SMK Gajah Mada Purwodadi.
