FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEJADIAN STUNTING PADA ANAK BALITA DIWILAYAH UPTD PUSKESMAS GEYER I KABUPATEN GROBOGAN

Abstract

Background : Stunting is a growth disorder in children caused by multi-factors. In
2019, the prevalence of stuntingat Geyer I Public Health Grobogan Regency is 83,3%
this isdue to the remote location of education facilities which causes parental education
is low,level of parenting is not good , family’s economic status and knowledge levelare
low.
Purpose : Purpose of this research to know factors affecting stunting on toddlers at
Geyer I Public Health Grobogan Regency
Methodology : The research design used correlationwith Cross-sectional approach. The
Sampling technique used total sampling method and obtained 30 respondents. Data
analysis usedthe aid of computerize of chi square test and logistic regression test with
95% significance level.
Result : Based on the analysis of data (1) there is a relationship between parenting
(0,041), education level (0,022), economic status (0,019) and knowledge level (0,009)
and stunting,p-value < α (0,05) (2) there are some effects ofsome variables, bad
parenting (0,029), education level (0,009), lack of knowledge (0,009) and low economic
status (0,024) to stunting (3) the result of regression analysis, lack of knowledge is the
most factor affecting stunting on toddlers at Geyer I Public Health Center Grobogan
Regency with constanta value is 3,584 times affecting stunting and p-value (0,009) < α
(0,05).
Conclusion : Based on the result of the regression analysis, it is concluded that there are
somefactors affect stunting in Geyer I Public Health Center.These factors are parenting,
knowledge level and economic. The lack of knowledge is the most existing factor
affecting stunting on toddlers at Geyer I Public Health Center Grobogan Regency.
